Spalding, War Memorial in Ayscoughfee Hall gardens.

The "War Memorial" commemorates the death of the 224 inhabitants of Spalding killed during the First World War. It was built in the gardens of "Ayscoughfee Hall" and inaugurated in 1922.
"Ascoughfee Hall" is a 15th century building surrounded by gardens, some parts of which date back to the 16th century. Private property until the end of the nineteenth century, it was given to the City of Spalding in 1902. Restored in 2006, it now houses a museum.
